I just upgraded all my equipment to the Quantum TV boxes (I think they are Aris). The issue I am having now is the sound on my Vizio soundbar is crackling and popping and there is a high pitch squeal with it. Everything worked fine with the old boxes.
To get the sound to even work I had to go into the hidden menu and change the HDMI output settings to L-PCM (I am using an optical out from my tv to the soundbar). I've tried the passthrough option but no sound when that is selected. All my other devices use the soundbar without a hitch.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
