WD DVR Expander, will it work with FIOS?

I'm finally making the switch to FIOS.  I have the last generation DVR expander(WDG1S10000VN) and was wondering if it will work with the FIOS cable boxes?  The website only has the current generation DVR Expanders listed.  Thanx in advance!!!

It's a 3Gb/s rated eSATA drive, so it should be able to be used with any of the 72xx series DVR's that Verizon uses.   Obviously the STB needs to be a DVR and not just regular STB.
