Where are the Verizon Media Manager and In Home Agent downloads?

Message 1 of 7

I have been trying to find the download pages for Verizon Media Manager and In Home Agent.

Either they cannot be found on the site, or I get sent to some page that has nothing to do with downloads at all.

Seems like no-one wants me to download them.

Thanks,

Bryan.

VZ Media Manager is no longer supported.  I have also read that the download pages are no longer valid.

I just found a web page that says "Verizon Media Manager" has been retired for new users.

Weird thing is I started the Verizon Media Manager on a PC I have not used for a while and it told me there were updates available, and it downloaded and installed them OK.

OK, so what about In-Home Agent?

Thanks,

Bryan.

Yes, this is what I stated above.

This application is considered pretty weak by many experienced users.  Personally I avoid just about all software offered by ISPs.  They are in the cable business and not the software business, and I prefer to let them do what they claim to know best.

If you still wish to use "In Home Agent" there are online versions available on the MyVerizon site.  Run a search in the "Ask the Community" box at the top of the page.  You can also get to a version of "In Home Agent" using your STB/DVR menu.  Look here for details:

I believe all functions of In-Home Agent are now available via My Verizon.
