Last night I checked to see if the season premiere of my favorite show (Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles) had recorded. To my surprise it had two instances of the show listed as 7 seconds and 8 seconds respectively (on both my Home Media DVR and HD DVR). I panicked, and tried to play the show a few times and it finally combined the two recordings and showed the full hour.
My upstairs HD DVR had the same issue, but as of last night I was unable to view the recording. I would receive an error that the recording could not be viewed.
I'm extremely worried about this as all my fall season premieres are starting now and I have to be able to rely on my DVR as much as I did my Tivo. Has anyone had an issue like this before?
