I noticed in the message for the South Eastern PA region that some of the stations will be switching channel numbers, I think it said January 14th. What I want to know is will the DVR automatically adjust scheduled recordings to the new channel numbers? Or, as I fear, will it just record the wrong thing or nothing at all?
I think the recording function actually uses an event ID (that is embedded in the program guide information but not shown to us) to schedule recordings. When the "big" reallignment took place last year, all of our scheduled recordings carried over to the "new" channels.
