The short answer is no. The best you can do is find a TV tuner card that supports both QAM and a Cable card, and then connect the tuner via Coax. Note that Verizon will have to install the Cable Card, and you will have to rent it from Verizon. If you only care about local unencrypted channels, you don't need the cable card.
In theory you could connect the Computer to the STB via the IEEE 1394 port, but you would need to create a driver on the computer side to process the IEEE 1394 data.
In general HD TV data rates exceed what you can to reliabl expect to transmit over an 802.11g network.
