Do you know what will be fixed in the 1.7 img. I know the Hub error, with streaming HD video should be fix. But another thing I hope will be fixed is the horrible series schedulers. Hell it will not even let me set a record day of the week and time (ie every Tuesday at 11:00pm.) for shows that run multiple times a week. The DVR has just been getting on my nerves lately. I like to watch say "The Sarah Silverman Program" I am not sure when it comes on, say wed at 8pm. But I have 2 other shows that come on at that time in HD. The DVR should be able to set it to record the next available time, but doesn't, so I miss the show out right. I would kill for a smarter smart DVR programmer. Just tell me who I have to OFF to get that.

If I wanted features like that in a DVR I think I'd seriously go with TiVo...

I am not someone who is going to pay 300 for a DVR then pay monthly to use the hardware I just paid for. I think its a bit ridiculous. My timewarner DVR did it, and my Media center DVR did it. But I think fios is a much better service. That's why I would like to see in That's their DVR.

Correct me if I wrong, but doesn't the DVR Priority feature handle this already?

Lets take your example for instance.  Let's say I set up the DVR to record new "The Sarah Silverman Program" episodes.  You have two other shows that you want to schedule to record at that time as well (we'll just say Show2 and Show3).  Since the DVR can only record 2 shows at one time, the DVR has to bump one off.  If you set Show2 and Show3 at a higher priority than "TSSP", then it will skip "TSSP" and record Show2 and Show3.  The DVR will still record upcoming episodes of "TSSP", so assuming there is a repeat of a new "TSSP" later that night (eg. 3am), the DVR will record it since it isn't already in your list.

I do this all the time with "South Park".  I never get to record the newest episode on Wednesday because my wife has other shows she records. Since I set "South Park" at a lower priority on the DVR, it skips it and records a later episode when there are no conflicts with her shows.

I don't think it does. I have missed shows because of this. But I may be wrong. Can anyone backup ether claim? Thanks.

I must say the Priority feature works pretty well.  I do like having the ability to move certain shows up or down the priority list so I don't have to fight with my wife on what shows get recorded.  We are certainly happy about that.

I think "shortly" is not exactly accurate since 6 weeks have now passed.  Any word on when, if not what, img1.7 will be coming?
