ir extender fpr vms 1100

I have been informed by Verizon Sales/Support that the IR Extender function has NOT been activated in either the VMS 1100 or the IPC 1100 P2 units. Both units do have IR extender connections on the back but do not function. Even the one that Verizon sells will not work according to Verizon. If you do find one that works I would be inteted in finding how you did a work around the issue

I have one of our STB's (IPC1100) in a closet behind a wall mounted TV.  The RF feature of the extender penetrates the wall/closet door with no problem, and with the extender directed at the STB the remote works normally.
