moving a TV within my house froze my HDTV

I have three TV's on my Fios system.  I tried to move one of them to a new location in the house and used an existing coax cable,  The TV and set top box worked in the new location but my HDTV in another part of the house froze,  The only way I could get it to work again was to disconnect the TV at the new location.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks

I would have to assume it is either coincidental, or the splitter that goes to the room that you moved the TV to, is more or less taking up the signal that would notmally be going to the box with the HDTV... if the jack that you moved to was not part of the initial install, that room may be "too hot" or "not hot enough" signal wise.... maybe an attenuator or something is needed.... hard to say for sure with out the proper testing tools....

but you can at least rule out coincidence.... unplug the power from the box with the HDTV, and hook up the other box in the room that you moved it to..... turn the other box on and make sure it works... then plug the box with the HDTV back in and turn it on... if that still doesnt cut it, contact tech support and have them reset the boxes..... if still not, then you may need a truck roll to further diagnose and resolve the issue.....
