I cannot get through to tech support to set up a 4th line in our home. Tried to install it myself, have been on hold 2 and 1/2 hours one day, an hour and 1/2 today. I need someone to physically come out to the house and install it for me. How can I set up an appointment?

are you trying to get a 4th (telephone) land line number added to your Verizon residential account,
or getting a 4th telephone jack installed in another room for the same Verizon home telephone number,
or are you trying to get a 4th TV set-up in another room with another coax outlet?
Either way, you can contact one of the FiOS local stores in your area if you are trying to have something ADDED or CHANGED regarding your TV, Internet, or voice service. This gets you to a Verizon representative fairly quickly and is less time consuming that contacting Customer Service thru the 800 number.
The representative at the FiOS store can create an order in the system for a tech visit and quote you the necessary pricing for that type of work.
