only getting 50 channels

I have 3 TV's on FIOS.   2 of the 3 get channels in the hundreds.

1 TV can only get 50 channels - 1-50.

It has a basic box - not a high def one.

It worked when it was set up.

How do I fix this?

What do you mean, "basic box"? What model STB?

I suggest you remove electrical power to the STB for 10-15 seconds, plug it back in, and see if that fixes it. As a general rule, if something isn't quite right with the TV service, the first thing to do is remove power and force the STB to reboot. Fixes an amazing number of problems

As long as that is a verizon stb, then it sounds like the cable box is not activated.

He said in his post that it worked when it was set up, so I don't think that is the problem.

yeah I saw that too, but 50 channels sounds like the old issue, where the set top box is only picking up the older analog channels, and that is almost strictly notorious for being a box that became deactivated.   So I personally don't discount that as a possible issue, and because it sounds identical it's at the top of my list. 

I could be wrong though,  I think that has happened once a real long time ago.

or at least one that needs to be re-initialized. 

He could probably do that using the in home agent verizon offers at www.verizon.com/connect
