Since installing the new quantum dvr network I have had problems on the hour with the responsiveness of the set top box. I am unable to change channels for several minutes. The problem seems to only occur on the hour and it seems that 6 PM is the worst. Since I am most likely to change channels when programs change on the hour this is very irritating. It seems the set top box is busy doing something other than responding to the signals from the remote control. Whatever the box is doing, it would be better if it were not done on the hour.
Do it via the Menu- Support option not just turning it off.
