What happens when I select a movie to record on a channel that I am not subscribed to, like HBO? Will I be charged? Will it not actually record?
I can search, for example, for "Cloud Atlas". The "TV Listings & DVR" feature of the VerizonFios website shows Cloud Atlas playing on HBO. I am not subscribed to HBO. When I click on Cloud Atlas playing on HBO, I can select "record", and the show will appear in my DVR scheduled recordings. What happens now? Will I be charged? Will the movie not record?
This website is utterly confusing.

Also, how can I view on the online TV listings only the channels I subscribe to? Right now, I have to look at the TV listings and cross check channels against a list that I think represents what I'm subscribed to. That's a ridiculous way to use your website.

No you will not be charged unless you actually subscribe to it. If you record the channel no actual shows will record.

Thanks! And how can I filter out all of the unsubscribed channels on the TV listings online?

Right now there is no option for it that I know of. Only thing you can do right now is try to memorize the channel package with the channels you have so you know if you have it or not when looking at the guide online.

Thanks, SinCara! You confirmed my suspicion that Verizon's website is terribly un-user friendly. Apparently a "filter" is too much for them to handle.
All the best.
