simultaneous hi-def & reg-def in the HD-DVR?

I'm considering changing to Fios TV.  I'm curious whether the DVR is capable of sending a high def signal to my main TV at the same time that it sends either a composite or coax signal to a distribution system that goes to the rest of the house.

I've looked through the manual that's available on line but don't see whether this cna be done.

In other words - can it send out high def and regular def simultaneously - accordingly, can it send out digital and analog audio simultaneously.

The simple answer is yes.  I have my DVR (all Verizon DVRs are currently HD) hooked up to my old VCR and I can watch in HD and record in SD at the same time.  Basically, all video and audio outputs are always active and outputing at the resolution they are capable of or set to (for HDMI and component).
