I have been trying t oset up my smartphone to operate my living room DVR but I am having no luck its. When setting it up in Phone its has space fora 4 digit number but the FIOs box is giving me a 7 digit number. So how do  I correct this?

Are you running the FiOS Mobile Remote widget from the STB to get the registartion code?  The widget needs to be run to register the mobile device.  The widget probides the 4-digit code and walks you through the process.

I forgot all about that thanks. So when I put in the code my smart phone freezes after the code is placed it and I can get the phone to be registered.
