when we try to watch 2 different hd shows or the same hd show on two different STBs it says that its not allowed. why does it not say that anywhere on the fios site and is there any word about removing that limitation in the future?

Until the latest IMG software, there were issues streaming HD from the DVR to the HD STB. It was a hub error. Now that is fixed but asking the system to output two HD data streams at one time would really be pushing the hardware, and that is why it gives you the message. Only way around this right now would be two DVRs and only one could share video on the system. Perhaps in the future that will change. Many people would like to share recorded programs between DVRs, but it's not there yet.
