Annoying reminder message every time I log into my Verizon account

Message 1 of 5

Every time I log into my Verizon account I get a message:

"Reminder - Verify Your Mobile Number".

I don't want to get any text messages from Verizon and if I respond to this message I am agreeing to text messages.  How can I make this message go away?

Thanks.  That worked.  I removed my mobile number from my profile and no more messages.  Previously I deleted message notification to my mobile but the number was still there and they still wanted it verified.

How to get help with verizon.com site

I am using "My Verizon" via www.verizon.com to "View TV Listings" and "Program My DVR"..   When trying to use "Contact us" under Support there is no category that fits.  When calling the support number there is no category that fits.  How can I get help to fix some problems?

1.  Every time I log into the site I get a message asking me to verify my mobile number.  How can I stop this?

2.  Using a fresh install of MSIE I find the record window has some buttons missing.  Firefox works better.

3.  How can I set a bookmark to go directly to TV Listings?

ONly thing I found that you can do is actually remove your mobile number from your profile.  This unfortunately means you will not get any messages about your account on that device.  Not a problem for me as my mobile phone is one of those rarities that cannot get text messages.

1. If your mobile is a Verizon number, make sure it is correct as they will recognize a wrong number.

Go to My Verizon > Profile > Notification settings and make sure nothing is set to receive a notification via Mobile.  That should do it.

2.  IE works better in compatibility mode on Verizon.com.

3.  Go to your TV listings, then set a bookmark for that page.  This works for most pages.   The problem you may encounter is that occasionally there is an internal change in Verizon page names which can mess up bookmarks.  If that occurs you will have to set it up again.
