Answer the phone at the customer support line!!

I called in today to report an outage with both phone (no dialtone) and Internet service.  I waited on hold for a full 40 minutes to speak to someone to report the problem.  During that time there was no option given to leave a message nor was there any status message to tell you how much longer you could expect to wait.  When I finally got through and asked about the delay, I was told "Well you can report problems online".  Not really an option when your Internet service is down.  I've had similar poor experience in the past with Verizon phone support.  Get with it Verizon ... the cable company's customer service is much better than this.

FIOS has a bottom line they have to watch out for. It costs money for customer service reps. They are in the business to MAKE money. So just send your check and keep quiet already. Or, switch to another service. They own DirectTv as well.  They have plenty of money and other customers. You mean nothing.
