I have a pedistal in my front yard. What can everyone suggest as a way to eliminate it? Can a low-profile pedistal be installed? What about an underground vault that would accomplish the same thing? I see both of these in my subdivision. I would love to have this eyesore removed.

That's a tough one. The pedistal houses termination points for the cables that run thru your area. The size of it is based on the number of cables connected to it.
Your best bet is to try to disguise it with bushes if you can.
Thank you for your response, Larry. I wonder if the pedistal can be converted to an underground vault? I understand that will take labor to move pairs from the ped to vault, but I'm willing to pay a few bucks to get it out of my yard.
