BROKEN CONTRACT

We signed onto a Verizon internet deal of $19.99 per month for life, it was the slowest speed offered and we didn't mind as we're really don't use it much.  Now, 36 months later, they send us a notice that our "time" is running out and they're going to raise our bill to 24.99 for one year for the same $19.99 speed.  So, in Verizon terms, our "Life" contract ends at 36 months.  What a rip off, if we had tried to end this contract we would've been charged some fee I'm sure.  Verizon can change the rules/contract whenever it wants...it's frightening that they're not held accountable.

Sometimes verizon sends outs mailings that dont apply to your account. I dont know if their systems generate atomatic mailings based on certain information or what, but I bet your cost wont change.

I had a 2 year deal with no contract and recevied a post card almost a year later saying my cost was going up. It didnt.

They do need to figure things out so false messages dont get sent out.
