CMR bill for Fios repair

My Fios internet went down a couple months ago. A repair person from Verizon came and replaced an optical fiber between the ONT and the curbside terminal, which fixed the problem. However, I later received a bill from CMR Claims Deparment for the entire cost of the repair ($165.42).  I dont understand why I am billed for a repair on something outside my property and owned by Verizon, especially since the repair person mentioned nothing about the cost. I called Verizon customer support, but because the bill is not in Verzion's system, no one can help me. What do I do now?

P.S. I see that many people have have had similar experience regarding CMR. Based on what was suggested, I looked for the My Support Cases link by clicking my user name, but can't find it. Do I only get a support case link if I post a message on the forum? Thanks.

Hi mittwink,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

CMR bill for Fios repair (again)

I posted a message in July about CMR sending me a bill for repair on my Fios service. You can see the details in the thread below:

{edited for privacy}

You said you would take care of it, and I thought the problem was resolved. However, a couple of weeks ago I received a letter from CMR demanding the amount that was originally billed. They also left me a voicemail with callback number {edited for privacy}. Why are they bothering me again? Please take care of it once and for all, like you promised. Thanks.

Hi mittwink,

We have reopened your Private Support Case. Please access your case through your profile page by following the instructions posted earlier. The support agents do not monitor the public boards and will need to hear from you in the Private Support area before they can begin assisting you.
