I am very confused as to why I cannot be able to get support consistently when calling Verizon. I dialed 800-837-4966 and entered the phone number associated with my account. I could never get to FIOS tech support. The best I did was get to high speed internet support, who tried to forward me to the right group, but to no avail.
On a whim I tried calling 800-837-4966 with my full account number this time, and what do you know I was able to get to the right FIOS tech support group. So Verizon why the difference between using my phone number vs using my account number. I thought they both work, as your automated system tells me I can enter either.
