We are on a family share plan, and our teenage daughter (age 13) is on our account. We'd like a transcript of her text messages, and since we are the owners of the plan and she is a minor, I was wondering if we can get these.

Not without a court order, and even then it's only for a limited span of time.
Several posts all essentially the same question. A search for "content" in the Messaging (Text, Picture, IM, etc.) board brings up dozens of posts:
Obtaining details of text messages
Finding out the content of son's text messaging...can add something to the bill?
Daughter just turned 13 & has a cell phone w/Texting. How do I monitor the content of her texts?
...you get the idea.

Thanks- I saw some other questions about it but didn't know if it made any difference that I was the owner on the account and the person with the phone was my own minor child (why would I need a court order to get my own account texts- I can totally see that I'd need that to get someone else's though)?

Any text messaging involves 2 parties, the sender and the recipient. Your child may be your legal charge, but anyone they converse with isn't.
