Compete service outage in Pico Rivera, CA 562

Phone and Internet outage in Pico Rivera, CA. Everything was working great this morning and when my GF came home this afternoon we had no phone or Internet. Quickly I called Verizon and they were quick to tell me there will be an outage until aprox 3am wednesday aug 31. Anyone else effected by this outage?
