Why is it so hard to speak to an english speaking person one on one? Not in this crazy chat box.

this is a customer helping customer forum.

call 1-800-VERIZON between 8 am til 5 pm EDT (eastern time)

your call is handled by a representative in Virginia or Carolina.

You clearly do not understand the problem. I've been calling CS ask some questions about options. I keep getting overseas non-native english speakersthat cannot carry on a conversation, I only get scripted sentences. That's the same problem the originaor of this thread has.  My questions are simple. It's been frustrating enough to make me give up on  FIOS options and ct the cord without further ado.

No its easy to understand. You are calling outside hours of 8 am eastern daylight time till 5 pm eastern daylight time. If you call after the hours i gave you get offshore people.
