Damaged Wiring pedestal

There is a damaged green pedestal which says it belongs to Verizon in front of the Jiffy Lube located at 4904 NC Hwy 55, Durham, NC.  There is exposed wiring and I am afraid someone is going to get hurt.  I've tried calling it in several times, but each time the live representative I get to does not seem to know what to do next, then they eventually put me on hold and disconnect me.

 

Please have this fixed before someone gets hurt.wiring pedestal.jpg
