Why does it take SOOOOOO long to get someone to assist me??? I have been on the phone on hold for well over an hour. Very unprofessional!

It never takes me that long to get through to someone. I am curious what options you chose after dialing. Also, did you dial the main 1-800-VERIZON line or a different number?
Wait time isdependent on your location and how many calls are waiting. Here in Baltimore wait time is not usually long. But, I have waited for 10-15 minutes. They usually tell you how long the wait time is will be.
