Fios Freedom Essentials phone services says have choice of up to three calling services.

I emailed customer service asking to remove "call waiting/cancel call waiting" and replace it

with "call Forwarding."

 

Received reply:

 " You may also choose any or all of the following
calling features (Home Voice Mail, Call Waiting and Caller ID).
Call Forwarding is additional and is not included in the plan."

 

Where is the "choice" if only able to select Home Voice Mail, Call Waiting and Caller ID?

Where does it show this ? I know for sure that Freedom Essentials phone package only includes Call ID, Call Waiting, Home Voice Mail. Call forwarding should only be about 3-4 dollars extra a month if anything, but I don't believe it's possible to trade one of these for it.

Good point about "where does it say ..."

 

After about a week mMuch has changed at www22.verizon.com.

Many pages have been changed to only reflect Home Voice Mail, Call Waiting and Caller ID.

 

 

This link indicates there is a "choice" of calling services

The "choice" is also indicated in the letter you receive that confirms changes to your

Fios service.
