Getting Verizon telephone poles moved?

Hi Can i directly speak with the department that handles moving telephone poles?

at least 2 poles were placed on our property many years ago without our knowledge or permission. Now that FIOS is being deployed in oour area these poles are starting to become active yet again. The 2 poles placed without our knowledge nor consent cross direclty over our property, whereas the rest follow the property lines somewhat. The 2 poles in question will be interfering with our property improvement plans.  Thank you for any feedback. I have tried over the years contacting Verizon directly about this matter and it never gets anywhere. -pg

This is a peer to peer support forum for FIOS services.

Have you checked your plot survey?

I am guessing that the poles are installed within a utility easement on your property that they do not need permission to install.

If not, I would contact the local PSC and file a complaint about the location of their pole.

BTW, is it Verizon only or is power run on them as well?

You may have absolutely no say.  If they have the right of way they can use them if they want.

Good luck in your endevors
