Help! Help! is what need. Verizon has buried and spliced all the cables in the neighborhood. But still has not made it live WHY??? I've tried calling and cannot get a real answer only the standard "it should be coming soon. It's been well over 6 months and nothing! The residence prior to our subdivision entrance has it but we don't. Isn't there someone I can talk to to get a real answer? HELP!
Try asking your local taxing authority about the status of FiOS availability in your area. While they certainly don't control when and where Verizon activates service, they are a gating factor in the granting of franchise agreements and other operating rights for providers. Chances are that if they haven't issued anything to Verizon yet -- it will be a while -- or it could be the holdup which is preventing installation in yout area.
