Noticed on my bill last month that two onDemand movies were ordered within 10 minutes of each other, on a Wednesday evening, probably while my wife and I were preparing dinner for our children (ages 1 through 😎 and their grandparents. One happened to be a porn movie. I explained to Customer Service that the order was made in error, but they didn't seem to care. My guess is either our 1 year old was pushing buttons on the remote and triggered the purchase (doubtful) or their grandparent was trying to find something on the DVR and got lost/confused in the menus and just started clicking yes (which might explain why two movies were purchased within minutes of each other. Trust me, I visited that section yesterday, and I can't figure how you can get lost in that section and order a porn movie and not know realize it, but I wasn't there when it happened, so lucky me. But maybe Verizon thinks my wife and I had a legitimate family movie night over some light fare & soft porn. Joking aside, is there any way I can get these charges reversed? Total is around $18.

ask them the length of time the movie was watched, they should be able to tell you that. and if it was short short then you can tell them it was in error and when you realized what it was you stopped the movie. OR they should also be able to tell you what box ordered it on what day and time. if they can't give you that much info then there should be some reasonable doubt that you can ask to have it escalated to a supervisor.

You also might want to consider enabling "parental controls" with a PIN.

And make sure you enable purchase control either with the parental pin or a seperate purchase pin.

Good luck! Verizon is pretty inflexible about rebating movie charges. I think the only solution is to threaten to terminate the service - and be prepared to follow through.
