I was told by a Verizon person, that you need to mark your calendar for when your "special" expires...about a month before it does. Then start calling because they have different "specials" all the time. So, when you finally get one you like, have them replace the last month (or 20 days, or whatever) with the new one and mark your calendar for how ever long that one will last. Great system, huh? Incidentally, I have had no luck trying to do things through the web...one would think that in the 21st century, web based customer service would be the "rage". It causes rage alright! lol
