Verizon needs to get busy and fix this problem. I tried for three days to have a “Verizon technical specialist” fix the issue on my phone and they are either not qualified or just don’t want to delve into problem. Poor service all the way around.

Soft reset and app reinstall does not solve the problem.

FIOS app is no longer working. The last time I used it was yesterday and have done nothing to it. As soon as I tap to open it, it shuts down. The phone is updated IOS 12.4.7 highest it'll go. iphone 6+. uninstalled the app 3 times and shut the phone off and restarted it each time and reinstalled it 3 times. Does Verizon no longer use this? I don't care either way as I use firestick but if if it should no longer be used, just let me know.

Yes the fios app is broken and Verizon is of no use. It takes up a lot of space and I uninstalled it. I hope they fix it one day after the beer virus hoax is over

I see exactly the same problem on my iPad. Uninstall, reboot, reinstall does not solve the problem.

Today I just about had it trying to even opening the fios app. It keeps disappearing. What’s the difference Myfios / Fios? I pay a pretty penny to have service and I need it to work! So fix this issue, Yesterday all really.

Here is an update. I called Verizon today about this update issue. the update IS NOT COMPATIBLE with the IPHONE anymore. They are going to reach out to the programmers (of course she didn't say when) and see if they can make it backwards compatible. You might want to get the word out. This is all I got.
Not good news, but news none the less.
