Nothing but misery since yesterday Fios instal!

Three service calls for living room TV because of cable card issues. Bedroom tv set up fine. Tonight I hear a beep from the closet and suddenly bedroom tv gets "no signal" on a blue screen and I can not see the TiVo screen!
could the beep have killed my only working TiVo????

Where did they install the power supply?  Hopefully where it ALWAYS has power on.  It beeps if it goes on battery power.  If it goes off you will lose TV.
