Ever since recent problems with the My Verizon page the page does not display my area, instead it displays New York, New York.  If I change it, it changes back to New York when ever I sign out.  I have to change it back every time I sign in.  Anyone got any ideas about how to fix this?

I get a similar thing oftentimes, only it will change to various cities and states across the countries.  I just change it back whenever that happens.  It really doesn't bother me.  I think it's minor but it's probably an issue with the server.  I'm assuming you're talking about the temperature and recent news events for your area.

I guess.  It doesn't happen with my home page every single time.  You're not the only one.  Sometimes when I log onto email or logout of email, I'll get an error message that the link is not available so sometimes I have to clear the history to get past that point and start again.  I know that has happened here to other users as well and that's a server issue.

There is nothing you can do about it, unfortunately.  As long as my TV, phone, and Internet service are all working, that's all that matters to me.

Yeah I think I do, and I answered your question in your first thread on this topic on 10/17.

I have the same problem, but I did notice that now the guest page has my location all the time instead of the usual New York.  I wrote to Feedback twice now concerning this problem. Maybe they will get to this eventually, but then expect new problems. It seems like every time one problem is fixed another problem shows up!

Also I still get kicked off my homepage every so often (signed in for 2 weeks), particularly after coming on the Forum. I've tried all the mentioned fixes, but none have worked for me.

Holly,

What fixes, specifically, have you tried?

When I set the two week signin option, I am always, always automatically signed in for two weeks, and going to the Forums (or email, or anything else) has absolutely no effect. Now if I sign out, anywhere, then next time I come back I do need to sign in, so I never sign out, and it works perfectly.

So if you tell us specifically what you have tried, and specifically what steps you take to go from one site to another, etc., maybe someone here can help you.

For me, this whole business boils down to always doing two things:

1) Never delete any Verizon.com cookies. Depending on the browser you are using the procedure may (will) be different, but it can be done.

2) Never sign out from a Verizon web page. Just close the browser with the Verizon page(s) open.
