Refer a friend points still pending after 8 months

I love verizon. Service is great. Any problems with service get resolved quickly. But I have not for the life of me been able to get a solid answer for the last 8 months over activating my refer a friend bonus. I have 15000 points pending since June of 2018. The first time I called, they said they had a system wide issue. Now, every time I email, I get “please call the number” and then when I call the number it’s “please email”. Anyone else have this problem? It’s getting ridiculous. I can’t imagine what’s so hard, other than Verizon not wanting to award me my bonus for referring a customer, for some reason.
