Server down again

I am a new Verizon customer. I have the double play (home phone and Internet only). I had to call 3 times to set my service up (should have been my first clue) misspelled my name, couldn't find my order list went on and on.
Finally got my service set up, 2 weeks later I have no Internet. Spend over an hour and half on the phone for them to finally figure out the server is down. I asked how long she said 24 hours it almost repaired. 3 days later I still have no Internet I call back mad now cause I had to go find free Internet for my kids to do homework after working all day. I call mad the lady makes repair order and states she will credit for a week. Internet comes back on a few days later. I get my first bill no credit. I call spend another hour with customer service to get my credit which surprisingly they found the notes. My credit for all my hassle $6,30 wow!!! I spent more time looking for free Internet.
Now here again my internets down typing this out on my cell phone. After spending again an hour and 20 minutes guess what!!! Servers down. Really!! I have a college student and a freshmen in high school and have to find more Internet. I am very upset with Verizon. Can't believe their customer service and their compensation for their service when servers down. Been down for a few days...

Get used to it, but don't think things will be better anywhere else.!

At my old house I had no problems with my Internet now that I moved I could not get Comcast here. If I had any problems mostly with my cable not Internet they would compensate me for more then $6.30. I wish Verizon took note of their customer service.
