There seems to be no information on suspending service while on vacation. I did it last year and "they" tried to charge me more than I actually pay for the service. I believe there should a transparent fee for aforementioned. Other then that the service has been fine.
I am replying to my message. I called today and asked about suspending my home phone and DSL for two months while we are on vacation. The girl said fine and the cost would be approx. $7.00 a month for the phone and a one time fee of $9.99 for the DSL. A short time later I get a E-Mail from verizon telling me that I will have mobile call up service for the internet and that will be $9.99 a month and that it is mandatory to have to "maintain the account". What a "crock" I have a cell phone, don't really need the home phone and am beginning to think I would be better off without the home phone.
