TV listings interactive format is NOT user friendly

Every time I sign in, the website makes me sign in at least four times before I can actually get to the TV listings.  I don't know if anyone reads this stuff, but I was sent here by the "customer service" to register my complaint.  This need to sign in again and again and again and again to get to the TV listings is BEYOND OLD.  I will consider comcast or Dish services' ability to be more user friendly when my contract is up.  Everytime I check my TV listings I become furious with verizon.  I currenlty have my internet, cable, phone, and wireless with them, but this lack of customer service and non-user friendly website makes one pause to consider what are my other options, and I am considering them.

I have the same situation.  Until they fix it, you might want to try what I do: If I don't need the Verizon page to schedule a recording, etc., if I just want to see what's on,  I use Zap2it for my TV listings.  It's very simple and fast and you can set it up to show your favorite channels on top.

Reading these posts made me curious so I have done some experimenting. Right up front, I have to say that I cannot reproduce what you are seeing, no matter what I do. I definitely can get to the web TV listings with one login. So here is what I tried, on both Firefox and Google Chrome:

1) I went to My Verizon: http://www22.verizon.com/Foryourhome/MyAccount/Unprotected/UserManagement/Login/Login.aspx and logged in. I then moused over the Entertainment link at the top of the page, moused down to FiOS TV, then clicked on TV Listings:

This took me directly to the TV listings for my location, no more logins, no more clicks, etc.

2) I used the following link to go directly to the TV listings: https://www22.verizon.com/fiostv/web/members/TVListings.aspx where I got a screen where I theoretically could log in using the link at the top right of the page (link did not work) but I could log in using a link midway down the page on the right side. Once I logged in, again I was taken directly to the FiOS TV listings for my location, no more logins required, no clicks anywhere.

Again, I did both of these in Google Chrome and then in Firefox, fresh startup of each browser, not having logged in to Verizon any other way. So I do not understand what you are experiencing, I don't think it is normal or even Verizon's fault. My guess is that it is something to do with how you have your cookie-handling set up in your browser. As you move from one area of Verizon's websites to another, I am pretty sure you a moving to different servers, and I suspect that your login info is getting lost due to some setting related to cookie handling. I encourage you to take a look at what you have set for cookie handling, I think maybe you can find the solution there. (and maybe someone who understands more about cookie handling than I do will chime in and identify exactly what the issue is).

Anyway, I believe it can be made to work the way you want, it certainly does so for me.

It sounds like a computer issue as opposed to a Verizon issue.  I just tried out the same function on my screen and it works fine for me as well.  It could be due to an outdated browser.

For "cookie handling", I think it's a good idea to periodically clear the broswing history, temp files, and cookies in your browser because that could be clogging it up.  I do that once a month in addition to running my virus programs.
