Verizon indicates that "these Forums are a peer-to-peer support channel in which users help other users. If you need an answer from Verizon directly please Contact Us."  Most of us have turned to these forums because we have not been able to obtain an answer from Verizon.  These forums would be much more valuable if Verizon could provide some technical assistance here.

They do, there are several official Verizon employees that are here every day like TheSanchez  Techman28 CharlesH.

Plus there are people like myself, who knows Verizon phone support is bad, that have had many issues with it, that come here to help out to make it easier on people.

{edited} They have plenty of employees here in these forums. They just arent any help with any actuall issue.

You have to wait on hold to talk to anyone who can "help" you, most of the time they are no help anyways.

If you have any questions about how hard it is to talk to anyone who knows what they are talking about, I'd be glad to assist you with how you can get nothing done and waste your time by dealing with verizon support. I'm an expert in that, so if any of you peers have any questions, let me know.

I totally agree.  I've been trying for 2 weeks to get the following question answered:  "Is it possible to export my Verizon webmail address book?.  I've contacted technical support via online, chat, email & telephone.  It has been a total waste of time.  When my contract is up in November, I will be switching to another provider.

Normally I would not help someone that comes here just to complain, and does not ask for help. But I know how it is to deal with Verizon support. The only place I have found good support from Verizon in on the forums. No about your issue, I know you can import your contacts, so I am sure you can export them too. But I don't know how. You should PM TheSanchez  Techman28 or CharlesH. One of the should be able to help you out.
