I'll tell you what's fair, deliver on your promise of superior service and innovative features! I have been with Verizon since it first came available on Long Island, NY. Since then the service has done nothing but decline (I'm only talking TV here.). Since the 1.9 upgrade I have seen frequent freezes and pixelization. Also sound drops out all the time. Did 1.9 add some nice features? Yes. But dont break the basic feature of delivering superior picture and sound. Contract? I guess the customer is the only one bound by a contract. $40 for a "better" DVR?. Can anyone say Hopper, the six tuner really advanced DVR at no additional charge. And what about the live TV streaming iPhone, iPad, and Android apps announced two years ago, really Verizon? Really cutting edge.
