The Worst Customer Service Ever

The Worst Customer Service Ever

Message 1 of 2

I have just spent over three hours on four calls to Verizon customer service, and all I have to show is that I will get 'a callback within 24 to 48 hours' Call #1 started at 9:30pm Eastern on 4/30/12 with Juantisha who stated that her supervisor, Ms Miller would call me back before she left for the day at 11:00pm. At 10:30pm, fearing that I would not get a call by 11:00pm I called back and spoke to another individual who placed me on hold while he went to get a supervisor; at 10:48pm, that call disconnected. I believe that the individual just chose to hang up on me. Because he never came back, I did not get his name. At 10:49, I got through again, and was again placed on hold, waiting for a supervisor, and again I was disconnected. This time at 11:24 and, again, no name. My fourth call started at 11:25pm, but this time I got the name before being placed on hold - Anakri. Anakri was able to find a supervisor, but the supervisor refused to talk to me. However, Anakri was kind enough to provide me with the supervisor's name - Tim {edited for privacy}. However, no resolution; I will be called back in 24 to 48 hours. Anakri also stated that there were no notes in the system since the start of this problem back on 4/16/12, even though the first Customer Service Rep, Juantisha, stated she entered all of my comments and questions into the system.

Obviously, Verizon does not care about their customers, contrary to what the phone recording says. Unless you get a name, they will hang up on you, but even getting a name does not get results. Obviously there are supervisors there, otherwise, who were Juantisha and Anakri talking to?

Interesting, that when they try to get you to sign up for services, those calls never get disconnected and supervisors are readily available. I guess that god Customer Relationship Marketing policies do not apply to present customers. All they money spent on getting new customers is wasted for lack of minimal efforts to retain existing customers.
