The worsening of customer service

I've used verizon cell phone service for 15 years and verizon fios for the last 3 years.  I've always been completely satisfied with their customer service.  Something has happened in the last year though.  It now takes at least 30 minutes to get anyone on the phone and when you do it's usually someone who can't help you, so you get transferred once, twice or three times.  I've been having dvr problems for three weeks and it's still not fixed.  I got a $20 credit (wow!! thank you!!).  I just can't believe how bad it has gotten.  With all the increases in prices I would think that Verizon could pay for some good customer service.  They're just like every other big corporation anymore.  Greed and disconcern rule corporate america anymore

We can help with DVR troubles right here. What is it doing? To fix most common issues please press menu, then go to CUSTOMER SUPPORT, then IN HOME AGENT, then SET TOP BOX AUTO CORRECTION. Please let us know if further assistance is required.
