Unable to get through to billing dept

I have called and left my number for a call back and have received no calls after 4 hours.  I also tried holding, but gave up after 1 hour!

If I am unable to resolve this I will be switching back to optimum, at least I can get through to the billing dept with issues.

Calling 1-800-VERIZON between 8 am until 5 pm EDT should get you to the right department. However the actual billing department might start later at possibly 9 am EDT 

and if you cannot get your issue resolved, call that same number back and at the prompt select or say CANCEL MY SERVICE that normally gets someone to speak to.
