Utility Pole Fracturing - Will Fail Soon

Utility pole supporting the streetlight at cul-de-sac at end of Maple Lane in Framingham, MA is splintering apart. The pole does not have any identifying numbers but is located to the northeast side of the cul-de-sac, What started as minor splintering two weeks ago is now widespread splintering at the bottom and middle of the pole height. It is happening on both sides of the pole, and the pole is bending and leaning heavily at the top at a greater angle than two weeks ago. My concern is the condition of the pole is getting worse by the day and it is only a matter of time before it fails. It is located at the end of a cul-de-sac run, the wiring branches out to every home at the end from this pole. When the pole comes down it is likely to rip the wires out of multiple houses, causing damage and exposing a large area to live wires at the ground level. I emailed Eversource but they claimed that the pole is owned by Verizon. image
