Ok this is an old post with recent kudos, so I will comment. If this Country was Socialist, the Government would be your service provider, and they would censor everything, and take your cellular phone from you.

I called Sunday about repairs and to no surprise to me it is the same old response. One week before any repairs will be done. Every time it rains for 2 days I loose my phone service. It always takes a week or more for some to come out to repair it. It is always the same. The problem is not at my location but as always in the office where they can reset the breaker. This has happened time and time again. I try to tell the Customer Service Person but all they can do is give me a repair date. They would not transfer to a Supervisor because according to them the supervisor would just tell me the same thing. If you get lucky and get a Supervisor then they will tell you a lie about getting someone out early JUST TO GET YOU OFF THE LINE and then give a wrong extension number to call back. I wish there was a different Company to do business with in my area also. Can you believe these people actually wanted me to open a business account with them!!!!!!!!!

I hate to say this but threads like this are the very reason why I hardly ever post here anymore. I just don't seem to find much information that I can use or that's interesting. It's always the same pattern with someone venting toward Verizon without going into any specifics about what the problem is and I feel like the same people continue to respond. Here is a suggestion: Why bother responding when it's just a vent? Nothing ever gets resolved by doing that because it only seems to add more fuel to the flame each time and in the end, it only seems to make the person responding more upset. I notice too that every time, the one person will vent in all caps and never reply to anyone's feedback and never post here again. Doesn't that tell you something?
If this is supposed to be a peer-to-peer support forum, the focus is poor and posts like that need to get redirected toward customer service.

No question that negatives outnumber positives on this (and most) boards. Nor would I argue that specifics are abundant in such posts. However this situation is not likely to improve if ignored. I often respond with requests for additional information, or with suggestions on how to improve the chances of a helpful response. So far my batting average is dismal, but every once in a while the light goes on.

I wasn't referring to you, just the situation in general which goes nowhere. I know you're trying but just in general, it's such a waste of everyone's time. There are legitimate problems from time to time but a lot of people are very demanding and it's pretty sad.
