I LIVE IN YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY. I PRINTED A CUPON FOR CARVEL ICECREAM. CARVEL REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE CUPON. THEY CLAIM THEY ARE NOT ALOWED TO TAKE IT, BECAUSE ANYONE CAN PRINT IT. IF IT IS USELESS THEN YOU SHOULD REMOVE IT FROM THE LIST.

What a joke! I've never tried using any of the coupons from Verizon Perks because to be honest, the website doesn't have any coupons that I could actually use. If it had coupons for the supermarket, JCPenney, Target, or my local performing arts center, then that would be more of a useful perk for me.
Sorry you had to pay full price for your ice cream. lol...I'm just laughing at the situation, not at you.

Of course anyone can print coupons - that's the whole point, to make it easy to get people into your business. That's why so many coupon websites exist. For Goodness Sake, one can print official US postage stamps at home. I suspect each coupon has a validation code somwhere that is authenticated when scanned at checkout. Sounds like the Carvel person was misinformed.
