I was on the MTV win a trip to the VMA website and I had to enter my zipcode to enter. I did, and it said i was not eligible to enter becasue the area i live in is not serviced by verizon. Seriously? I DO live in a verizon serviced area. I already have Verizon for my provider! And I have great service. In fact i get a guy trying to shove verizon service and products down my throat whnever i walk thru the door at my local sams club and mall. I think they are implying/violating a "no purchase necessary" rule. While i may not be forced to purchase verizon products in order to enter a contest.. I better not be caught in a world where verizon doesnt exist.

I discussed your concerns with a Verizon product manager and she referred me to the contest rules page at
The rules state that you have to live in certain metro areas and be FiOS eligible.
Are you in one of the referenced metro areas?
