If there is such a thing as a website manager for Verizon, please test your site.  I constantly get error messages, or timed outs, etc.  I am even going to have to go back to paper billing, because it is hit or miss (mostly, miss) getting to see my bill online.  It's not just the main website, offshoots (for example, Verizon Call Assistant) frequently are not available and asking me to try again later.  What's going on?
