Verizon first impressions

This post is in regards to some of the work vans that I have seen fios techs doing installs and trouble calls in. Let me tell you, I can see why some people are leary about getting fios. Just the other day this van parked at my neighbors house doing a install had so much rust on it that I was shocked to learn he was putting in fios. The techs look sharp but these junkers that some are driving in make me wonder if V* is at all worried about their image. I have never seen their competitors in vehicles that look like junkyard vans.To me a van is the first and last thing a customer sees so shouldn't it  be a positive reflection of the service that is being provided. I know these vans are a lot of money but it is also doing your advertising 24/7. This is coming from a concerned customer that is worried that maybe V* is not in this for the long haul.

I've been hearing they use contractors to install the fios lines.  That would explain some of my issues.  They don't seem to very good communication and oversight at the local level.

Seriously.... your complaint was that the verizon van you saw had rust on it???

Geeze, some people will just find anything to complain about

How in the world an older van would possibly effect you or your dscision of choosing a provider, is beyond me
